Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival

Scores of brilliantly coloured balloons fill the skies over Ottawa, while on the ground, people flock to musical events (featuring OLP and Hedley) and midway rides. The 23rd Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival promises another dazzling edition. All those hot air balloons, including many special shapes, and countless shows and entertainment adding up to more than 60 hours of continuous programming set the tone for this event that should not be missed, which annually receives more than 200,000 visits! • Four-days wristband-passport: $32 • Wristband-passport and amusement ride package: $59 • One-day wristband: The information is not available yet • Free admission for children no older than 10 years of age (proof of age required)

Ottawa Lumiere Festival's Evening of Light

Stanley Park becomes a magical ocean of light, with enchanting candlelight lanterns, celebrating local visual, musical, theatrical and dance artists. The Lumière Festival is a chance to celebrate the magic and beauty of light! Be creative! Make your own imaginative lantern from tissue paper and bamboo. And come together for a night of calm and enjoyment.
